Midterms weren’t quite as bad as I expected.  I don’t think I did great, but I don’t think I did all that bad, either.  With luck, I’ll get at least a “C+” on tonight’s exam, and I’m hoping for at least a “B” on Monday’s and Tuesday’s exams. 

The best part about tonight was that one of the other students told the most irritating person in the class to shut her yap.  Cripes, she drives everyone insane, constantly yammering about stupid stuff, asking stupid questions, acting like she knows everything, etc.  I suspect a massive beat-down after finals is due.   But tonight, after the instructor started handing out the exams, she just kept talking, in her trademark grating, loud voice.  The other student leaned over and yells, “Could you please just shut up?”  We all gawk in admiration.  “Why?” asks Ms. I-Use-A-Garden-Rake-To-Comb-My-Hair.  “Because I’m trying to take this test.”

We high-fived and applauded her after we left.  I’m going to buy her some sort of veggie-friendly treat.
