Okay, I thought it was bad enough when Gwyneth Paltrow named her kid Apple.  And then there’s Nicholas Cage with his kid, Kal-El.  Tonight, I found out that Shannyn Sossamon, who I only know from A Knight’s Tale, named her kid Audio Science Clayton.  All I can say is WTF??

Have I mentioned yet how stupid our new office manager is?  Two days ago, a fax came in addressed to a single first name.  It was a blank medical records authorization form from a medical facility.  The form was completely blank.  Even though we have individual fax numbers which send faxes directly to our computers, we have once central fax number for the office that most people use (the individual fax numbers are a fairly recent change).  So, not being able to figure out what to do with it, she sends it to one secretary at random and asks if she knows who it belongs to (we have over 200 employees, half a dozen of which have the first name on the fax).  Then, not wanting to deal with it herself anymore, and being terrified of violating HIPAA laws, she deletes it from the system!  All she would have to do is send out one email to all employees with a short message along the lines of “We got a fax from __ for __, containing a blank authorization form, does anyone know who it belongs to?”  This happens all the time and these messages of unknown faxes are not uncommon.  But no, for some reason, she thinks its a better idea just to get rid of it and not have to deal with it.  Again I say, WTF??
